The Story of Sweet Scenes Photography

Sweet Scenes Photography is owned and operated by me, Eva Hoffman, LMSW.  I am the Director of a Day Program for Individuals with Special Needs.  As a Social Worker, building rapport and putting others at ease comes naturally which enhances the opportunity for special moments to be captured.  When not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, my dog Harpur, riding horses, and going on road trip adventures.  Whether it be in my daily work or my free time, I love to snap smiles and surroundings to share with others.  If there are two things I always have with me, it’s coffee and a camera!
As a photographer, I place an equal focus on the overall experience of my clients and on creating the perfect photo.  I began my photography journey at a young age while flipping through old family albums and pointing out all of the details each image portrayed.  With a disposable camera in hand and later with digital point and shoots, I always had a camera with me, especially at camp, on family vacations, and at holiday gatherings.  In High School, I was fortunate enough to take Black and White Photography where I learned hands-on the inner workings of an SLR, as well as the development process in the onsite dark room.  Shooting and developing my own photographs and submitting them for grades and peer review was a turning point as photography turned into a passion from a casual hobby.  Several cameras later and after numerous inquiries to create projects for friends and family, Sweet Scenes Photography was born for the wider world to enjoy.  With photography that is natural, relaxed, and beautifully lit, Sweet Scenes Photography has a calm and fun approach to each one of its projects.
